SSE Telecom Inc. Names Charles E. Reutter Regional Vice President of North America-East Sales

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1998--SSE Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:SSET) Thursday announced that Charles E. Reutter has been named to the position of regional vice president of North America-East Sales.

Reutter will be based out of a new SSE office in Maryland. "We are delighted to add an experienced Satcom veteran of Chick's stature to our sales team. His experience and knowledge of our industry will be invaluable as we drive forward in rebuilding our business base by improving local responsiveness and support to our customers," said Michael Wytyshyn, executive vice president, business development, of SSE Telecom.

Reutter comes to SSE with 25 years' experience in sales, marketing and business development for telecommunications products and services. For the past nine years, 1988 to 1997, Reutter held various senior sales-management positions at ComStream Corp., where he was responsible for modem, Earth-station, broadcast-terminal and network sales for the Americas Region.

From 1983 to1988, he was director of marketing and sales at Comsat Technology Products. Prior to this, Reutter managed the sales of hospital communications and digital switching systems at Executone Inc. and McGee & Co.

With headquarters in Fremont, SSE Telecom is a leading satellite-Earth -station component and system manufacturer. To date, more than 40,000 of SSE's transceivers or modems have been installed in satellite Earth stations in more than 110 countries worldwide.
