Informix Extends Transaction Processing Options for Users On IBM Middleware Platform

Informix Corp. The agreement was revealed at the annual Informix(R) Worldwide User Conference held this week in Seattle.
With the new certification of Informix Dynamic Server on IBM's TXSeries, customers can develop mission-critical business systems with assurance across relational and non-relational data resources, such as message queues and legacy applications. Moreover, the ability to interoperate across multiple platforms helps customers further leverage the investments in existing IT resources.
The announcement demonstrates Informix's ongoing commitment in meeting the needs of OLTP and data warehousing customers with high-performance, database offerings that provide enterprise scalability, full UNIX and WindowsNT support, and superior price and performance.
With Informix middleware solutions such as the IBM certification, customers can fully integrate critical transaction processing, and in doing so, they can make more informed business decisions that can improve competitive advantage.
