ON Technology Captures Major Accounts in Medical Market Sector; Charite Selects ON Command CCM to Manage 2000 Desktops

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1998--ON Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:ONTC) and csd Software GmbH & Co. KG, a wholly owned subsidiary of ON Technology based in Germany, today announced that the Berlin University Clinic Charite has selected ON Command CCM to manage their 2000 desktops and increase mission-critical PC availability. In addition, the Swedish association of northwestern hospitals NVSO (Nordvastra Sjukvardsomradet) has purchased ON Command CCM for 1000 PCs. Other new ON Technology customers include two Norwegian hospitals.
The Charite clinic recently ordered 500 licenses for ON Command CCM as well as ON Command Remote and Tally Systems NetCensus for remote control and inventory capabilities. Their total implementation plan includes managing 2000 PC workstations using ON Command CCM.
