Alliance Launched with Deloitte Consulting Unit Introduces Web-Based Insurance Claims Processing Framework

Deloitte Consulting's DRT Systems and SilverStream Software have teamed to help companies move enterprise, mission-critical business applications to the Web using SilverStream's award-winning Application Server. DRT Systems is a technology unit of Deloitte Consulting, focused upon solutions deployment and integration services. A SilverStream Sterling Consulting Partner and charter member of SilverStream's SilverSolutions vertical application partner program, DRT Systems has already produced its first market offering: a Web-based claims processing system for the insurance industry, developed using SilverStream's Application Server.

The DRT Systems alliance is the second such relationship SilverStream has created within the global Deloitte Consulting enterprise. SilverStream recently announced an agreement with Deloitte Consulting in Australia and New Zealand to provide Web applications to the Pacific Rim market.
