400,000+ Bell Atlantic Customers in New York to Get Centigram Voice Messaging and Value-added Services

Centigram Strengthens Presence in Northeast with Multi-Million
Dollar Bell Atlantic Deal
Centigram Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:CGRM), a leading global provider of advanced messaging and communications solutions, today announced that Bell Atlantic will be purchasing additional Centigram NEBs compliant Series 6 messaging platforms for more than 400,000 voice mail boxes to support many of its New York City customers.
With this system expansion, Centigram will now be one of the suppliers providing voice messaging and value-added services to Bell Atlantic customers throughout the state of New York. These new systems will more than double the size of Centigram's current installed customer base of 220,000 mailboxes within the Bell Atlantic network. Centigram's standards-based messaging platform helps provide easy connectivity to service provider networks. This sale clearly demonstrates this capability.
