GeoScience Corporation Announces That Its Innovative Transducers Subsidiary Acquires Assets From Bison Instruments

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 1998--GeoScience Corporation (Nasdaq:GSCI) today announced that its Innovative Transducers Inc. (ITI) subsidiary acquired the assets and intellectual property of Bison Instruments Inc. seismograph product line.
The assets acquired are digital seismic recording systems used in academia studies, land/marine exploration, and engineering applications.
Sam Bull, President of ITI stated, "This acquisition supports our long-term growth plans for ITI and offers flexibility to provide total system solutions to our customers whilst complimenting Syntron's technology portfolio and core competencies."
GeoScience Corporation designs, develops and manufactures seismic data acquisition systems and provides services for the oil and gas exploration and production industry.
