Mosaic Closes UK Technology Sales Service Company

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 1998--Mosaic Group Inc. (TSE:MGX) -- Mosaic Group Inc. has closed its previously announced acquisition of Europa Merchant Services Ltd. ("EMS").
EMS is the United Kingdom's leading provider of contract retail sales forces and in-store sales, training, and product demonstrations exclusively in the information technology domain. EMS serves major manufacturers of hardware and software including Microsoft, IBM, Compaq, Xerox, Hewlett Packard and Toshiba as well as leading information technology retailers such as Dixons, P.C. World and Staples. The company has approximately 600 highly trained full and part-time employees in the field. Annual revenues of EMS are expected to exceed $12 million.

He added that since the announcement of the EMS acquisition, EMS has secured over $2 million in new revenues as a result of client referrals from other Mosaic operating units.
