Business Wire, June 2, 1998
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 1998--National Research Corp. announced a letter of intent to execute the marketing and expansion of Pure H2O Bio-Technologies' (OTC BB:PHBT) water disinfection product line. Pure H2O Bio-Technologies will supply approximately 2,500 under-the-counter water disinfection units per month as early as the first quarter of 1999. National Research is currently opening three new sales offices in Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami.
Elizabeth Davis, president of National Research stated: "The iodine technology of Pure H2O's water disinfection/filtration systems is the best that we have found, and as a research company we have done our homework. It seems that Pure H2O Bio-Technologies Inc. has the answer to our unsatisfactory drinking water conditions."
Joseph Doxey, president of Pure H2O Bio-Technologies Inc. noted: "This is an extremely positive development in addition to the company's recent approval of an inducement resolution in the amount of $9,850,000 of Industrial Revenue Bonds by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners on May 19, 1998. Once this agreement is finalized it will generate a strong revenue stream for our under-the-counter division. We are working diligently to complete negotiations for our other product lines so that we will be in full production upon completion of our new manufacturing facility."
