CBT Systems Expands Microsoft BackOffice Interactive Training Curriculum

Updates to Three Curricula Enable Systems and Networks Administrators, Webmasters to Deploy and Manage Latest Microsoft Server Applications
CBT Systems, a leading provider of interactive education software for information technology (IT) training, today announced that it has begun shipping courseware to complement its extensive range of Microsoft(R) BackOffice(TM) curricula. The new curricula for Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0, Proxy Server 2.0 and Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 provide systems and network administrators, consultants and webmasters with the capability to integrate Microsoft's information sharing, collaboration and management technologies effectively into their computing environment.
The new courseware includes significant updates that cover the many enhancements included in the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Information Server (Version 4.0), Microsoft Proxy Server (Version 2.0) andMicrosoft Exchange Server (Version 5.5). The new courses are approved by Microsoft for use in preparing for related exams included in the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE and MCSE Internet) certifications.

Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0 courseware is designed for technology professionals who want to learn how to use Microsoft Proxy Server to provide end users with secure access to the Internet. The curriculum covers architecture and functionality; planning and installation; and configuration and management.
Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 courseware is designed for system and network administrators and consultants who design, configure and implement this e-mail and groupware server. The curriculum covers basic concepts; planning and design considerations; installation, verification, troubleshooting and advanced security; configuration of the various Microsoft Exchange Server components; integration of Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook; the creation and management of public folders and forms; the connection of Microsoft Exchange sites; integration with the Internet; and migration from Microsoft Mail.
