Daniel J. Driscoll Appointed to Printrak Board of Directors
Business Wire, June 23, 1998
ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 1998--Printrak International Inc. (Nasdaq:AFIS) Tuesday announced the selection of Daniel J. Driscoll, president of the company's digital justice division, to its board of directors.
Driscoll fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Barry White, formerly president of TFP Inc., a wholly-owned Printrak subsidiary.
Driscoll joined Printrak in 1993 as director of marketing with an extensive business and technical background in imaging-related product development. He subsequently served as vice president of engineering and product development and in early 1998 was named to his present position. Driscoll was instrumental in the successful rollout of the industry-leading Printrak Series 2000 automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS), as well as development of the company's LiveScan (inkless) fingerprinting and digital mugshot systems, which have fueled the company's rapid sales growth.
"Dan Driscoll's experience and talent make him, perhaps, the most knowledgeable person in the company about strengths, weaknesses and our future direction," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Giles. "He will be a valued addition to the corporate policy-making process."
