Trim-A-Lawn Corporation Revenues Up 400% on Orders From Mass Merchandisers

UTICA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1998--Trim-A-Lawn (OTC BB: TLWN) has announced that sales have increased 400% on orders from mass merchandisers such as WalMart, Hechingers, Ace Hardware and TruServe.
Revenues have soared from $500,000 in 1997 to over $2,000,000 the first six months of 1998.
Based in Upstate N.Y., Trim-A-Lawn manufactures light-weight walk-behind trimmers and a number of trimmer accessories. It is the only walk-behind trimmer in its price range that sold through the mass merchandisers. Its product line includes both gas-powered and battery rechargeable walk-behind string trimmers and a unique cutting head that allows a customer to change from blades to line without the use of tools. A patented plastic/metal composite blade featured in the cutting head lasts up to 100 times longer than other plastic blades currently on the market.
