Reliability Incorporated Announces Receipt Of ISO 9001 Certification

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1998--Reliability Incorporated (Nasdaq:REAL) announced today that its Houston, Texas facility has received its ISO 9001 certification. ISO 9001 is a standard defined by the International Organization for Standardization and is intended to establish, document and maintain a system to ensure the output quality of a process. It applies to facilities that design, develop, produce, install and service products or services to customer specifications. ISO 9001 is understood and accepted worldwide and shows a company's commitment to quality.
Reliability Incorporated, Houston designs and manufactures systems to burn-in and test memory devices, as well as loaders and unloaders that work in conjunction with the boards used in the burn-in systems. These systems are sold to major semiconductor manufacturers under the tradenames CRITERIA(R), INTERSECT(TM) and INNOVATION(TM). The Company also designs a line of power sources, including DC to DC power converters.
Reliability Incorporated is based in Houston, Texas with operating facilities in Singapore and San Jose, Costa Rica. Reliability Singapore Pte Ltd. received ISO 9002 certification earlier this year. RICR de Costa Rica is the manufacturing location for the Company's line of DC to DC converters. Reliability provides conditioning and testing services for integrated circuits at its Singapore facility.
