Tower Technology Appoints John K. Bace Chief Financial Officer

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1998--Tower Technology Corporation, a leading technology provider of high performance native Java deployment compilers and run-time software, announces the appointment of John K. Bace as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Bace has nine years of financial operations and corporate finance experience. Mr. Bace oversees the company's financial functions which include accounting, corporate finance, business and strategic planning and investor relations. Prior to joining Tower, John was with Dell Computer Corporation where he engaged in strategic, business and operations planning. He was a Business partner to the General Manager of the Server Business and helped create the business plan that achieved revenue growth from $250 million to $1 billion over 12 months. He also initiated Dell's Return on Investment Capital campaign. Prior to Dell, John was a financial analyst in the merchant Banking Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York.
Mr. Bace holds a Bachelorof Business Administration degree in Accounting from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management and Entrepeneurship from the University of Texas at Austin.
