Business Wire, June 30, 1998
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998--Pandesic LLC, the Internet company from Intel and SAP, today announced that Wild Oats Markets Inc., the second-largest natural foods supermarket chain in North America, has selected the Pandesic(tm) Web business solution to run its online store.
After evaluating a number of e-commerce and e-business options, Wild Oats chose Pandesic because it offers a complete, integrated solution that requires minimal resources to install and run, making it a cost-effective way to launch a Web business.

Warehousing and fulfillment will be handled by Anabolic Laboratories Inc. of Irvine, Calif.
Beginning in the fall, the Wild Oats e-commerce site can be accessed via the company's Web site, http://www.wildoats.com/. In the meantime, people interested in receiving e-mail notification when the site goes live can leave their e-mail address at the company's Web site.
"Pandesic is a perfect fit for Wild Oats," said Jim Lee, president of Wild Oats Markets. "Both companies have experienced phenomenal growth and know how to take a product to market quickly and efficiently."
