ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 1998--OpenCon Systems (OCS) Inc. today introduced OCS' High-Bit Rate Digital Subscriber Line (HDSL) products that provide 80% more loop reach over standard Carrier Serving Area (CSA) specified loop lengths, versus the competition. On display in Booth No. 873, OCS' HDSL products are the newest additions to the OCS business product line.
OCS' HDSL units use state-of-the-art echo-cancelling and equalizing technologies, which provide crosstalk immunity and high transmission quality (BER 10-10). The OCS HDSL benefits include low cost T1/E1 transport with fast T1/E1 provisioning, while providing additional subscriber voice channels (extensions) in high-fill cable sheaths. Integrated OA&M network management capabilities provide extensive remote management, monitoring and diagnostics from a PC-based Graphical User Interface (GUI).
