TRW Forms Joint Venture With Chinese Fastener and Plastic Component Manufacturer

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1998--TRW Inc. announced today the formation of a joint venture with Ningbo Yong Xing Automobile Parts, Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of automotive fasteners and plastic injection-molded components, located in Ningbo, China.

TRW will own 70 percent of the joint venture, which is subject to regulatory approval. Other terms of the venture were not disclosed.

"This transaction builds on TRW's seat belt joint venture in Shanghai and its automotive switch joint venture in Suzhou.
