Berg Electronics Announces Availability of VRM-8 Header Featuring Retentive Legs

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 1998--Berg Electronics announces the availability of Berg's patented retentive legs on the VRM-8, Voltage Regulator Module header.
The retentive legs provide a secure hold down without mechanical hardware during solder operations. This in turn allows for a lower applied cost.
Berg's VRM-8 header is used on Pentium Mother boards in personal computers.
Lead time is six weeks. Pricing is set at $.03/line at 10,000 pieces.
