American Lawyer Media announced today the acquisition of Corporate Presentations, Inc., the leading producer of tradeshows and conferences for the legal industry, from Janet Felleman, who will be continuing with American Lawyer Media. Terms were not disclosed.

Under its LegalTech trade name, Corporate Presentations coordinates conferences in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Washington. Additionally, the company sponsors various seminars and a number of internet-related events.

With the added geographic outlets and marketing capabilities that American Lawyer Media provides, both the company and Ms. Felleman are confident that they will be able to grow the combined business substantially. Ms. Felleman, who is bringing her key employees with her to American Lawyer Media, said that, "The benefits of such a combination are innumerable. With the editorial strength and geographic reach of American Lawyer Media, we can surely take the combined entity to the next level. This is clearly an example of one plus one equaling far more than two."
