Wallace Laboratories Announces Sponsorship of InteliHealth Professional Network

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1998--Wallace Laboratories, a division of Carter-Wallace, Inc. (NYSE:CAR) and maker of ASTELIN (R) (azelastine HCI) Nasal Spray, today announced its sponsorship of Allergy News, a new area in the InteliHealth Professional Network (IPN). The sponsorship includes an unrestricted educational grant to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

ASTELIN Nasal Spray, a unique antihistamine for treating seasonal allergy symptoms, became available for physicians to prescribe on March 10, 1997. It is the first topical prescription antihistamine nasal spray available in the United States. It provides a treatment option for patients suffering from seasonal allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes and congestion.

The InteliHealth Professional Network delivers news, databases and other resources that healthcare professionals value the most, via the PointCast Business Network Healthcare Insider, right to the user's computer.
