Civil Lawsuit Against Bain & Company Thrown Out of US Courts
Business Wire, March 6, 1998
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1998--Bain & Company, the global strategy consulting firm, today announced that the lawsuit brought against the company by Serge Trigano, former CEO of Club Mediterranee (Club Med) has been summarily dismissed. The ruling from the Honorable Judge Denny Chin, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, ends the case that was first brought against the company in the summer of 1997.
"We are pleased with Judge Chin's decision to dismiss this case -- we always felt that this case was brought to the US in search of publicity and money," said David Bechhofer, Vice President, Bain & Company. "We take pride in Bain & Company's reputation and professionalism and will continue to defend it against meritless claims such as the ones brought by Mr. Trigano."
