SDRC Receives $576,000 I-DEAS Order From Link-Belt Construction Equipment

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 1998--Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:SDRC) today announced that it has received an order for I-DEAS(tm) CAD/CAM/CAE software valued at $576,000 from Link-Belt Construction Equipment, Lexington, Kentucky-based maker of giant cranes and excavators for the construction, forestry and demolition industries.
"At Link-Belt, we thoroughly tested several top rated software packages against our acceptance criteria and I-DEAS came out on top for our type of business where we had to interface with legacy CAD data," said Bernie McGrew, Manager of Technical Computing at Link-Belt.
