Suncom Technologies Highlights New Space-Saving Atom Mouse At E3Expo

Business Wire, May 28, 1998

WHEELING, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 1998--Suncom Technologies Inc. marked the debut Thursday of its new Atom Mouse (MSRP $39.95).

The new space-saving peripheral will debut at Suncom's E3Expo Booth No. 3062 in the World Congress Center in Atlanta.

"With every inch of space at a premium on the desktop these days, our new Atom Mouse provides the convenience and accuracy computer users are demanding," said David Fahrner, Suncom's vice president of sales.

The new Atom Mouse takes up no more space than a trackball. The Atom Mouse utilizes a two-dimensional optical code bar that moves in an area on a stationary pad to control the cursor position on the monitor screen. This results in a very accurate and portable mouse device measuring only 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches square.

Suncom Technologies is a leading international marketer of computer joystick and controller devices, including the popular F-15 Strike Fighter Series of Tactical Control Sticks for use with air-combat software. Suncom Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Panint Electric Ltd., based in Hong Kong.

Color 35mm slides, digital images and review samples of the Atom Mouse are available upon request.
