Settlement for Zoom Reached In REFAC Patent Suit

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1998--Zoom Telephonics, a leading manufacturer of faxmodems and other wide area network PC communications products, announced today that the REFAC patent infringement suit against Zoom Telephonics has been settled by Rockwell Semiconductor Systems. The suit, initiated by REFAC in March of 1996 in the United States District Court, related to U.S. Patent No. 4,876,541.
