IXLA Expands Alliance With PictureVision; IXLA's Digital Photo Software To Interface with Kodak's PhotoNet Service

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1998--IXLA Limited, a leader in the PC photography software market, today announced the expansion of its strategic alliance with PictureVision, a majority owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, to further promote the rapidly expanding digital imaging market. The new agreement between the two companies links together Kodak's online photography service, Kodak PhotoNet(tm) online, and IXLA's award-winning PC photography software: users can now directly download their digitized photos from Kodak PhotoNet online, using IXLA's software, and within minutes create photo albums, greeting cards, Internet Web pages, calendars, business presentations and other applications.

The new alliance strengthens IXLA's commitment to PC photography and Internet products, services and technologies. IXLA Limited will incorporate Kodak PhotoNet online, the world's largest online photographic service, as an option in its complete range of PC photography products, including ixla Digital Camera Suite(tm), ixla Explorer(tm), ixla Web Easy(tm), and ixla Photo Scanner Suite(tm).
