Paula Dumas Joins Kodak As Brand and Market Development Director

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1998--Eastman Kodak Company today announced the appointment of Paula Dumas as vice president and director of Brand and Market Development, effective Nov. 16. Dumas was formerly director of Marketing and a co-founder of Club Disney for the Walt Disney Company in Burbank, Calif.
In her new post, Dumas will report to Carl E. Gustin, Jr., Chief Marketing Officer and senior vice president. Dumas will lead a new effort, working with Kodak's Business Research organization, to develop brand equities for Kodak in new market segments.
"Paula brings to Kodak more than 15 years of experience in consumer marketing and business development at such major marketers as Disney, Apple Computer, Turner and Frito-Lay," Gustin said. "During that time, she has become an industry leader in launching new concepts and re-invigorating established brands."
Dumas, 36, began her career at Frito-Lay in 1984 as manager of National Advertising. In 1988, she joined Turner Broadcasting as director of Marketing and Promotions for the company's (then) four networks: CNN, Headline News, TBS and TNT. She moved to Apple Computer in 1991 for a two-year assignment as Marketing Communications manager. In 1992, she joined the Walt Disney Company, initially as director of Disney's Corporate Alliances and later as co-founder and director of Club Disney.
She holds a BA in Communications and Economics from the University of California at San Diego.
