David L. Varner Joins Washington Scientific Industries As Marketing Manager

LONG LAKE, Minn--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1998--Washington Scientific Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market: WSCI) today announced that David L. Varner has joined the Company as its marketing manager.
Varner, who will be responsible for all of the Company's marketing activities, founded Varner & Associates in 1990, an industrial marketing strategies consulting firm. Before that, he held positions ranging from application engineer to general manager with machine tool manufacturers and distributors.
Washington Scientific is a leading contract manufacturer that specializes in the machining of complex, high-precision parts for a wide range of industries.
