Purchase of Pizza Hut's Stuffed Crust Pizza Provides Consumers a
Chance to Win PlayStation(R) Game Console Prizes and $200,000 Jackpot
Sony Computer Entertainment America and Pizza Hut(R) announced today a nationwide promotion that teams up the world's largest pizza restaurant company with the world's best-selling videogame system.

The promotion, which begins November 22 and is available while supplies last, offers thousands of hungry consumers purchasing Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Pizza the opportunity to win a grand prize cash jackpot of $200,000 and a wide assortment of PlayStation prizes, including 100 PlayStation game consoles with the new Crash Bandicoot: WARPED(TM) videogame; and 2,000 copies of PlayStation's most popular games, including Gran Turismo(TM), MediEvil(TM), Spyro the Dragon(TM), Jersey Devil(TM), Tomba!(TM), Hot Shots Golf(TM), Turbo Prop Racing(TM) and Tomb Raider(TM) III.
As part of this promotion, consumers will be able to sample some of the hottest PlayStation-exclusive titles when they receive one of the 3.5 million PlayStation demo discs available through Pizza Hut, the largest number ever manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment America.

To enter the promotion, all Pizza Hut customers who purchase a Stuffed Crust Pizza, at a Pizza Hut location including delivery during the promotional period, will automatically receive a special PlayStation game disc, including samples of five premier PlayStation titles: Crash Bandicoot: WARPED, Gran Turismo, MediEvil, Metal Gear(TM) Solid from Konami of America and Tomb Raider III: The Adventures of Lara Croft from Eidos Interactive.
Inside each PlayStation game disc will be a "Scratch-and-Win" game piece which, when rubbed off, will determine if the customer is the winner of the jackpot or a PlayStation prize. Customers may also write in to Pizza Hut and receive a free game piece.
To support the promotion, a coupon for Stuffed Crust Pizza priced at $8.99 will be distributed November 25 through a direct mail campaign targeting millions of PlayStation game console registered owners. In addition to background about the promotion in the mailer, consumers will receive PlayStation stickers, a special poster and a $5 coupon to be used at any Best Buy retail location.
Full feature TV advertisements announcing the Pizza Hut and PlayStation promotion will begin airing on November 22 starring videogame icon, Crash Bandicoot. Additionally, a wide distribution of in-store point of purchase displays will be featured at more than 7,200 Pizza Hut restaurants. Also, the PlayStation game console will be featured in a Pizza Hut print advertisement circulated in newspapers and through direct mail.
