In support of today's announcement that RealNetworks(TM) (NASDAQ:RNWK) has begun shipping the gold version of its RealSystem G2 streaming media system, Eloquent, Inc., the pioneer of web-based enterprise learning solutions, today announced it has selected RealSystem G2 to deliver powerful enterprise learning applications via the web to corporations worldwide.

Eloquent plans to integrate its searchable and scalable Presenter! enterprise software applications with RealSystem G2 from RealNetworks, the recognized leader in streaming media, to provide large enterprises with a cost-effective, cutting-edge solution for web-based learning. The two companies will also participate in joint marketing and selling programs to expand the rapidly growing enterprise learning market.

Eloquent provides the first of a new breed of distance learning applications which allow Global 2000 companies to revolutionize how they launch new products, train their sales and marketing teams, and communicate strategies to their employees, customers, and partners. Eloquent Presenter! streams synchronized video, audio, presentation slides and full text transcript of speakers giving presentations, on-demand via the web. Advanced navigation and intelligent search technology in Presenter! enables users to search through the presentations and view parts that are most relevant or interesting to them. Combining its robust, on-demand web-based learning solutions with the latest standards in streaming media technology, today's announcement demonstrates Eloquent's support for RealNetworks' RealSystem G2.

Eloquent's solutions will run on RealNetworks' RealSystem G2, the first open, extensible standards-based streaming media system, which delivers new rich media experiences to users through the synchronization and playback of multiple media types. Using the industry's new SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) authoring standard, RealSystem G2 can combine state-of-the-art streaming audio and video with a complete set of multimedia data types such as streaming text, images and slides to provide a whole new class of training programming. This new system, combined with Eloquent's robust, on-demand web-based learning solutions, will provide an effective low-cost learning application for large enterprises.
