Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. Acquires Accounting Firm

BRYN MAWR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 1998--Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. (NASDAQ:BMTC) announced the intended acquisition of Joseph W. Roskos & Co., a firm that provides family business office services, including accounting , consulting, tax services, and fiduciary support for high-net-worth individuals.
The transaction, which will be non-dilutive, is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 1999, effective as of Jan. 1. The consideration for the acquisition will be approximately $4 million in cash and Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. stock.
According to Corporate Chairman Robert L. Stevens, "The acquisition of the Roskos organization furthers Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation's strategy to strengthen its capability to provide a full complement of professional financial services." This move follows the formation of Investment Counsellors of Bryn Mawr, Insurance Counsellors of Bryn Mawr and Tax Counsellors of Bryn Mawr.
