MMC Networks Announces Resignation of CEO; Amos Wilnai, Founding CEO and Chairman, Named Interim CEO

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1998--MMC Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:MMCN) today announced that its president and CEO, Prabhat K. (PK) Dubey, 48, has resigned for personal reasons.

The resignation is effective immediately. The board of directors has appointed Amos Wilnai, the company's founding CEO and chairman of the board, 59, as interim CEO. A search for a new CEO will begin immediately. Dr. Dubey has agreed to remain a consultant to the company.
