WebTrends and PSINet Inc. Partner to Deliver Web Site Statistics for Historic Space Shuttle Flight STS-95

PORTLAND, Ore./HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1998-- WebTrends Corporation, the leader and pioneer in enterprise management of Internet and intranet servers today announced an agreement with PSINet Inc. (NASDAQ:PSIX), the first and largest independent commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP), to provide Web traffic statistics for Web sites associated with three space missions.
NASA and PSINet Inc. have signed a Space Act Agreement under which PSINet and its partners are currently providing Internet connectivity and managed Web hosting for the NASA Shuttle Web site -- home to the in-process STS-95 mission. In addition, PSINet will provide the same services for the NASA Station Web and NASA Shuttle-Mir Web sites associated with two subsequent missions scheduled for November 20 and December 3, 1998, respectively. Under the agreement, PSINet will provide managed Web hosting services for these high-volume NASA Web sites through the end of the current calendar year at no cost to the government.
