Congoleum Corporation and United Steelworkers Union Reach Contract Agreement

MERCERVILLE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1998--Congoleum Corporation (NYSE: CGM) announced today that it has reached agreement on a new five-year labor contract with United Steelworkers Union Local 12698.
The new agreement becomes effective November 8, 1998 and covers 280 workers in Congoleum's Marcus Hook, PA sheet flooring production facility.
