FOCUS Enhancements Addresses Yahoo! Message Board

SUDBURY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1998--FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCSE) announced today that a person posting on a message board run by Yahoo!, Inc., has been impersonating an officer of FOCUS and using this persona to disseminate false and misleading information.
With respect to posting on message boards, it is FOCUS' policy that its employees not post messages relating to FOCUS. Violation of this policy will generally result in immediate termination.
This policy is based upon the recommendations of well-recognized and established authorities on company obligations relating to electronic disclosures. As a result of such recommendations, the company has taken the position not to post or comment on posts on message boards. Thus, until notice to the contrary is provided by FOCUS, the company will continue to distribute all official communications primarily through press releases and conference calls.
