NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1998--Oprah Winfrey will participate in a live chat on OPRAH.com (www.oprah.com) this MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET. Oprah, who returns to the silver screen in "Beloved" on Friday, October 16, will answer viewers' questions about her most powerful role to date, her renewal to the year 2002 and "Change Your Life TV."

Academy Award(R) nominee Oprah Winfrey stars with Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Kimberly Elise and Beah Richards in "Beloved." This compelling story was adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison.

Oprah Winfrey, for whom "Beloved" is the ultimate labor of love, appears in her first starring feature film role since earning an Oscar(R) nomination for Best Supporting Actress in "The Color Purple." Oprah optioned the rights to "Beloved" upon its publication and nurtured the project for nearly a decade, personally shepherding it to its current incarnation as one of the most anticipated motion picture events of the year.

Oprah began her thirteenth season of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" this past September. Oprah revealed an exciting new concept called "Change Your Life TV" that inspires viewers to make the small adjustments that can create big results in their lives. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has remained the number one talk show for twelve consecutive seasons since its debut in 1986. It is produced in Chicago by HARPO Productions and syndicated to 206 domestic markets and 135 international markets by King World.
