Santa Fe Energy Trust Makes Announcement

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1998--Santa Fe Energy Trust (NYSE:SFF) announced the trust income distribution for the operating quarter ending Sept. 30, 1998. Unitholders of record on Nov. 16, 1998 will receive a distribution amounting to $2,520,000 or $0.4000 per unit, payable on Nov. 30, 1998.
The distribution for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1998 includes a support payment of $93,895, received in the form of an additional royalty from Santa Fe Energy Resources Inc.'s retained royalty interest in the Wasson ODC Unit.
