Gateway Names Kenneth M. Stickevers Vice President of Brand Management

NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1998-- Gateway today announced that Kenneth M. Stickevers has been named vice president of brand management for Gateway. Mr. Stickevers will report to Anil Arora, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, and will be responsible for developing Gateway's brand management strategy.
"Ken brings a wealth of brand management experience to Gateway," said Arora. "He understands the key elements of furthering our goal of humanizing the digital revolution."
Mr. Stickevers was most recently director of Customer Development at The Pillsbury Company, where he developed business strategies for the Baked Goods division. He also served as marketing director of Pillsbury's Mexican Foods division, where he managed R&D, manufacturing, sales, finance and advertising personnel. In addition, Stickevers held senior brand management positions with Kraft Foods where he served as senior brand manager and manager of strategy. Prior to Kraft, he was a captain in the Air Force where he managed new weapon flight test programs.

Mr. Stickevers earned a bachelor of science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., and a master's of business administration from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He will be based at the company's administrative headquarters in San Diego, Calif. About Gateway
