Noise Cancellation Technologies, Inc. Changes Name to NCT Group, Inc

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--Noise Cancellation Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCTI) today announced that the Company's name has been changed to NCT Group, Inc. This change was effected to better reflect the Company's present organizational structure and its expanded focus beyond noise cancellation to include technologies that improve signal-to-noise ratio and enhance sound quality. NCT Group, Inc. is organized into strategic business units (SBUs), each targeted to the commercialization of their products in specific markets.
