Minerals Technologies Inc. Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE:MTX) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.025 (two and one-half cents) a share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on December 18, 1998 to stockholders of record on November 27, 1998.

Minerals Technologies Inc. is a resource- and technology-based organization that develops and produces performance-enhancing minerals, mineral-based and synthetic mineral products for the paper, steel, polymer and other manufacturing industries on a worldwide basis. The company reported sales of $602.3 million in 1997.
