NBG Radio Network Launches Second Program With Nina Blackwood; "Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s Spotlight"

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 1998--NBG Radio Network announced today the launch of a second program hosted by Nina Blackwood in conjunction with NBG's current show Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s.
The new program, Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s Spotlight is scheduled to debut on Nov. 2, 1998, as a daily, five minute vignette.
After five wildly successful years as the first MTV VJ, Nina worked with Paramount Studios, anchoring her own weekly "Rock Report" on Entertainment Tonight, and co-hosted the award winning Solid Gold. Nina then headed to radio, signing a multi-year contract with NBG Radio Network on June 22, 1998 to host Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s.
Nina Blackwood's Absolutely 80s Spotlight will focus on the music of the 1980s. Each show will have personal interviews with the hottest artists from the 80s, facts, follow-ups to favorite bands from the 80s, and each Friday a live version of a particular song from the 1980s.
