Salomon Brothers Investors Fund Board Declares Quarterly Distributions

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1998--The Board of Directors of the Salomon Brothers Investors Fund declared the following distribution:

An ordinary income dividend of $.075 per share for Class O

shares, $.060 per share for Class A shares, $.020 per share for

Class B shares and $.020 per share for Class C shares out of

the Fund's net investment income.

The distribution is payable on October 29, 1998 to stockholders of record October 28, 1998. The ex-dividend date is October 28, 1998.
