Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation Announces Strategic Alliance with Lyons Magnus
Business Wire, Oct 28, 1998
KETCHUM, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1998--Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation (OTC:AVBC) announced today that it has reached an agreement in principle with Lyons Magnus, of Fresno, Calif., to form a strategic alliance for a long term relationship whereby Aqua Vie will launch several specific new products created by Lyons Magnus into the retail market place under the Aqua Vie name.
These products will complement Aqua Vie's existing product lines. The proposed agreement is subject to completion of due diligence and definitive documentation which is expected to be completed within approximately six weeks.
Lyons Magnus is one of California's largest manufacturers of beverages and fruit products and operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where it currently bottles for Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation through a proprietary aseptic bottling process.
Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation is exhibiting this week its "all natural", non-carbonated hydration beverages, functional beverages, and non-alcoholic wines at InterBev, the largest beverage trade show in the U.S.
Tom Gillespie, founder of Aqua-Vie said, "This alliance takes place during a time when the bottled water business is the fastest growing segment in the $6 billion alternative beverage industry. Within this segment, Aqua Vie produces the only "all natural" flavored spring waters."
Aqua Vie produces the long awaited Hydrator(TM) low calorie all natural product line of seven lightly flavored non-carbonated spring waters, that were designed to increase one's personal consumption of water. The underlying technology also serves as the new delivery system for Aqua Vie's "nutritionally fortified" E Line(TM), Elixir(TM), Empower(TM), and Ecstasy(TM), its nutritionally specific Aquaceuticals(TM), and Aqua Vie's Non-Alcoholic Wines made from spring water. All four product lines are presently being introduced and marketed at InterBev, the largest beverage trade show for the U.S., being held in Dallas this week.
