LaRoche Industries Inc. Announces Caustic Soda Price Increase In North America

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 1998--LaRoche Industries Inc. today announced a price increase of $30 per dry short ton for diaphragm-grade caustic soda sold in North America, effective immediately to all spot customers and as contract terms permit.
Market conditions continue to remain strong for caustic soda, increasing pressure on supply. The company will continue to meet all of its contract obligations at 100 percent allocation.
