New Products' First Year Revenues Expected to Exceed $1 Million
Carmine T. Oliva, chairman and CEO of MicroTel International Inc. (NASDAQ Small Cap: MCTL) today announced that subsidiary CXR Telcom Corporation's Data Transmission Equipment Division has introduced three new products under its Anderson Jacobson (AJ) Trademark, named RASKey Communication Network Servers.
These are the first of the company's products which are designed primarily to support Internet Service Providers (ISP), which require processing a large concurrent user base. MicroTel expects first year revenue in excess of $1 million from these new products.
Henry Mourad, president of CXR Telcom and vice president and sector manager for MicroTel's Test Equipment and Instrumentation Sector, stated, "These products will position the Corporation as a significant solution contributor to the Internet market. We believe they surpass in performance all competing products available today. Our products are presently under extensive field trials with a major Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC)."
The AJ RASKey series of products are high-end industrial grade Remote Access Servers, which are truly state of the art and feature an open system architecture, thus allowing customers to solve their dial-in requirements by using a platform solution based on the well-known Pentium Processors and the popular Windows NT operating system.
