Cell Robotics International Inc. Announces Distribution of First Semi-Annual Dividend on Preferred Stock

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1998--Cell Robotics International Inc. (OTC:CRII, CRIIP, CRIIW) announced today that it is distributing the first semi-annual stock dividend on its outstanding shares of Series A Convertible Preferred Stock (the "Preferred Stock").

The dividend will be paid to all holders of Preferred Stock of record on Aug. 2, 1998 (the "Record Date"), and shall consist of shares of the company's common stock computed on the basis of 4/10 of one share of common stock for every share of preferred stock owned on the record date. The company is currently completing the tasks necessary to effect the distribution, which is expected to occur in the near future.
