Marvell Semiconductor Names Gordon Steel as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer; Mixed-signal IC Company Welcomes Industry Veteran

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1998--Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. (http://www.marvell.com) today announced the appointment of industry veteran Gordon Steel as the company's vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

During Steel's tenure, the In-Stat consulting firm named Xilinx one of the best financially managed semiconductor companies for an unprecedented five times.
