WRQ's Reflection 7.0 Extends Access to UNIX, Digital and HP Hosts in Just Minutes; Web-based Deployment Gives Robust Host Access to More Users, More Control to IT

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 1998--WRQ, Inc., makers of Reflection, Express and @Guard software, announced today it is shipping version 7.0 of Reflection for UNIX and Digital, Reflection for HP with NS/VT and Reflection for ReGis Graphics, all of which feature Reflection Hands-Free Administration(tm), Microsoft's Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and Year 2000 compliance.
These products provide end users with feature-rich access to UNIX, Digital, HP and now Unisys host information, while increasing IT's configurability and control options.

"Reflection Hands Free Administration is a set of built-in tools, such as Reflection Deploy, that helps IT meet increased demand for data access from a growing number of users. New Features in Version 7.0
-- Reflection Deploy, a patent-pending technology, makes it possible
to install and configure Reflection on the server, then deploy it
to users via a web page. -- Reflection Profiler is a tool for centralized, remote
configuration of user access to information on host systems. -- Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a powerful
development environment that lets IT leverage millions of
experienced Visual Basic programmers to customize and enhance
Reflection. -- Unisys T27 host emulation lets customers access Unisys A Series
hosts. -- Event Viewer makes it possible to monitor Reflection or host
interactions and centrally view events reported by WRQ network
protocols and applications.
In addition, Kerberos support and single-sign-on capabilities will be available when these products are used with Reflection Signature, an add-on product scheduled for release in October 1998.

Reflection for UNIX and Digital is available immediately for manufacturer's direct price of $269; Reflection for HP with NS/VT is available for manufacturer's direct price of $404; and Reflection for ReGis Graphics is available for manufacturer's direct price of $359.
