Alabama National BanCorporation Announces Formation of NBC Leasing Company

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1998--Alabama National BanCorporation (Nasdaq/NM:ALAB) announced the formation of NBC Leasing Company, a division of National Bank of Commerce ("NBC"). Birmingham-based National Bank of Commerce is the lead bank subsidiary of Alabama National.
NBC Leasing Company offers a full line of commercial lease and finance products to businesses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and contiguous southeastern states. The company provides ongoing consultation and education to meet commercial clients' equipment acquisition needs.

Charles H. Morris has joined NBC as senior vice president, leasing manager of the newly formed leasing company. He received a BA degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant. Morris has nine years of banking and leasing experience.
Tami M. Johnson joined NBC as senior vice president, sales and marketing manager of NBC Leasing. She has over ten years of experience in the banking and leasing industries. A Certified Cash Manager, Johnson holds a BA degree in foreign languages and international trade from Auburn University.
