Rea-Graham Funds Changes Name to American Diversified Funds; Also Changes Name of Balanced Fund to Global Value Fund to Emphasize Investment Approach

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1998--Rea-Graham Funds Inc., a diversified open-end investment company, has changed its name to American Diversified Funds Inc. following the recent acquisition of its longtime investment adviser James Buchanan Rea Inc., by American Diversified Asset Management Inc. (ADAM) and the engagement of a new subadviser, Ladas & Hulings Inc., it was announced Thursday by James B. Rea Jr., president of American Diversified Funds and president/CEO of ADAM.
Rea-Graham Fund's sole portfolio, Rea-Graham Balanced Fund, has also been renamed as American Diversified Global Value Fund ("Fund").

"The Fund already had a global value approach. We renamed it to better convey and emphasize our search for bargains worldwide and our continuous commitment to seeking the historically superior returns of equities with reduced risk and volatility," said Rea.
The investment objectives of the American Diversified Global Value Fund are medium-term capital growth, income andsafety through balanced investment in global common stocks, preferrednd was originally organized by Dr. James B. Reats on the fundamental value of common stocks.
"The goal of ADAM is to provide American-style, value-oriented investment products -- with their lower risk and lower volatility -- to European investors, while continuing to provide value funds to Americans," said Rea.
American Diversified Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Diversified Holdings Inc., a multinational corporation formed to manage international mutual funds in the United States and Europe. American Diversified Holdings is also the parent company of American Diversified AG Wertpapierhandelsbank, a German financial services firm located in Berlin.
American Diversified has offices in Los Angeles, New York and Berlin and is in the process of opening offices in Dublin and Frankfurt.
