Symbol Partners With BPA Systems to Provide Wireless Solutions for Oracle Manufacturing Applications

(NYSE:SBL) today announced a value added reseller partnership with BPA Systems, Inc., of Austin, Tex., to provide mobile solutions that allow companies to extend their corporate Oracle-based enterprise applications to the point of activity through integration with Symbol's line of wireless mobile computers.

BPA's enterprise resource planning software (ERP) is integrated with Symbol's hand-held mobile computers and Spectrum24(R) wireless LAN solutions to empower companies to easily extend their Oracle applications to perform real-time, wireless transactions over the corporate Intranet or Internet from any location, including the shop floor, warehouse and even the office.

BPA is a certified software solutions provider for the Oracle Applications Suite. Oracle's Cooperative Applications Initiative, or CAI, provides third-party software providers with technical and marketing services to support the integration of their products with Oracle applications.
