LIBERTY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1998--PinkMonkey.com Inc. (OTC BB:PMKY) ("PinkMonkey.com") announced yesterday that it acquired 750,000 shares of Houston InterWeb Design Inc. ("Houston InterWeb") common stock ("Common Stock"). Houston InterWeb, a Texas corporation, is engaged in designing, creating and marketing cost-effective Internet products and custom software. Houston InterWeb agreed to file a registration statement registering the shares of Common Stock with the Securities and Exchange Commission by October 15, 1998. Houston InterWeb designs and maintains the PinkMonkey.com web site.

The Board of Directors intends to distribute the Common Stock to PinkMonkey.com shareholders. No record date has been established. PinkMonkey.com will file a press release to announce the record date for determining PinkMonkey.com shareholders entitled to receive the Houston InterWeb Common Stock.

PinkMonkey.com is engaged in publishing educational study aids that are distributed over the Internet directly to the consumer.
